Pantayo, Wellington Sanipe & Novusolis

  • General Assembly 5A Fairmont Avenue Ottawa, ON, K1Y 1X4 Canada (map)

DIY Spring + Debaser + General Assembly / Assemblée Générale + Anakbayan Ottawa present:

Pantayo is an all-women musical collective. Our music is grounded in traditional kulintang music of the Maguindanaon and T'boli peoples of the Philippines, but explores the possibility of kulintang music influenced by our identities as diasporic Filipinas.

Wellington Sanipe

Wellington Sanipe is an ambient musician who creates lush, eerie and blissful synth loops.

Based in Ottawa-Gatineau, Zachary Perron and Amanda Lowe have created a new haven of post-rock in the local scene. Zachary steadily builds the music with his intricately charming electric guitar live loops, while Amanda's synth swells and voice sways us into a trance. Together, they are haunting, enchanting, and cinematic.
