Ziibiwan ᓯᐱᐘᐣ (Toronto, ON)

Ziibiwan is an emerging Anishinaabe, electronic artist/producer from Toronto, Ontario. They began playing guitar and piano as a younger teenager and their melodic, electronic compositions draw deep inspiration from contemporary R&B, Radiohead, and Björk. Their ethereal, sonic landscape opens into deeply hypnotic spaces where land, sky, and deep sea meet.

Lonely Parade (Montréal, QC)

Lonely Parade is a three piece post-punk band of childhood friends based in Montréal, QC. Augusta, Anwyn and Charlotte played their first show in 2012, and started touring before all the members of the band were of age. While still quite young in years, the songs they write prove a compatibility beyond years.

Heathers (Montréal, QC)

Heathers is a three-piece post-punk/grunge band from Montreal. Formed in 2012, they have played multiple festivals and toured parts of Canada and the US. Their latest album, Midnight Is A Place will be released in May 2018.

respectfulchild (Treaty 6 Territory)

respectfulchild (敬兒) is the solo instrumental project of Gan from Saskatoon on Treaty 6 Territory. Their music is both “electronic” in nature while being acoustically created, building experimental ambient soundscapes through slow progressions of meticulous improvisation. With a sound that has been likened to artists such as Brian Eno, Nils Frahm, and Owen Pallett, the lone presence of respectfulchild is able to bring quiet to even the noisiest of rooms.

Lake Urmia (Ottawa, ON)
